Kallysion Voice Studio was born out of Cambel’s passion for nurturing voices. She started by offering private singing lessons in her home studio to dedicated learners.

From children to adults, Kallysion Voice Studio has worked with a diverse range of clients, helping them develop their singing skills and musical confidence.

Kallysion Voice Studio began its journey with a vision to instill a love for music in students of all ages through personalised lessons.

Cambel, with 10+ years of performance experience, is committed to nurturing talents and building musical skills.

2023: “Voice Function 101” Evidence Based Voicework Pedagogy program with Voice Specialist Maddie Tarbox.

2017-2020: Bachelor of Performing Arts majoring in Musical Theatre Voice under the guidance of Arlie McCormick.

2015-2017: Musical Theatre Vocal Training with Lisa Rangi.

2014-2015: Classical Vocal Training with Gabrielle Barr.

2011-2014: Contemporary Vocal Training with Mary Williams.

Experience:

2021-2022: Vocalist in the Christchurch band ‘daytrip.’

December 2014-2018: Co-founder and member of ‘Words with the Birds,’ a professional trio nailing those three-part harmonies at various events.
